Generally considered to be the best punk album ever written, Nirvana opening up with Nevermind was sheer brilliance and changed the history of rock music forever. Many consider this album to have killed the 1980s sound with so many bands coming out around the same time as Nirvana including Pearl Jam and Soundgarden who also had that punk/grunge sound. With lead singer Kurt Kobain along with David Grohl on the drums, the pure musical talent that went into creating this CD is almost mind boggling.

Pandit Jitendra Abhisheki will always be remembered as one of the finest classical vocalists and a merited composer and music director of the Marathi Natya Sangeet. His contribution to Marathi Theatre Music was unparalleled. He was responsible for revival of this form of music during 60’s and composed music for as many as 25 marathi plays. Though he was equally fluent in presenting semi-classical forms of music like Bhajans and Thumris, yet his repertoire in Raga Sangeet was the richest. His passing away in 1998 created a vacuum in the field of Indian classical music and Marathi Theatre Music.
